Can you replace just the damaged siding?
Usually. If damage is limited to a few areas, matching material is available and the rest of the siding is in good shape, replacing those sections is the sensible fix, and we will tell you so. If the siding is failing across the house, cannot be matched, or keeps letting water in, new siding may be the better value, and we explain why.
What will it cost?
The evaluation and written proposal are free. The price depends on what your house actually needs, so we evaluate first. Your written proposal spells out the scope and price, including how any damage found behind the siding is handled, before any work starts.
What are the measurement report and 3D designs?
On any siding project, if you want them, you get a free measurement report and free 3D designs showing what your house could look like, along with the free evaluation and written proposal. Try as many colors and styles as you like on your own house before you commit.
Will new siding match what I have?
For section repairs, we look for matching material first and tell you honestly how close it will be. If a good match is not possible, we talk through the options with you before any work starts.
What causes siding and trim to rot?
Water getting behind it, most often at windows, doors, roof-to-wall transitions, and where gutters overflow. Fixing the source matters as much as replacing the wood, so you are not paying for the same repair twice.
What if you find damage behind the siding?
We stop and show you. Damaged sheathing or framing should be repaired before new siding goes on, and we explain the cost before doing extra work. New siding over rotted sheathing just hides the problem.
Do you repair fascia and soffit?
Yes. Rotted fascia and soffit at the roof edge is common, and it can also give insects and animals a way in.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Our workmanship is covered by a 5-year warranty, subject to the terms of your project agreement. Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate.
How long will it take?
It depends on the scope. Your written proposal includes a realistic schedule, and we keep you updated if weather or hidden damage changes it.
